New hires at the FPA
Three new roles have been filled at the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA). John Tattershall is the new head of advice partnerships and membership, joining from Bridges Financial Services; Ben Marshan is the new head of policy, a move from within the FPA; and Dimitri Diamantes is the FPA's new policy manager.
CareSuper appoints new board members
CareSuper has appointed two new member directors - Michelle Gardiner and Greg McLean, executives from within the Australian business sector.
ASFA appoints interim chief executive
A new chief executive to replace Pauline Vamos will be announced in September, after an extensive search. Jim Mintos is acting CEO of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA).
CBA selects new GM of Commonwealth Private
The Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has appointed Marianne Perkovic to the role of executive general manager of Commonwealth Private, CBA's business and private banking division. Perkovic moves across to this role from the executive general manager of advice.
Westpac appoints senior compliance manager
Dorota Piotrowicz is Westpac's new senior compliance manager, moving across from CommSec.
Mine Wealth + Wellbeing (formerly AUSCOAL) appoints new chief strategy manager
Vasyl Nair has been appointed to Mine Wealth + Wellbeing superannuation (formerly AUSCOAL) as its chief strategy manager.

Credit Suisse MD resigns
Matthew Tehan has resigned from his position as managing director Credit Suisse, also leaving his role as co-head of debt and derivatives, a role he shares with Michael Tierney. Tierney is now taking full responsibility of that role.

Ethical Enterprise Award nominations now open
Enterprises in Australia that do good for people, the planet, and animals are to be recognised through Moral Fairground's Ethical Enterprise Awards, with nominations now open. Winners are to be announced at an event in October. Australian Ethical is the major sponsor of the awards. The prize is a $10,000 grant and national recognition.
