ASFA appoints new CEO
Dr Martin Fahy has been appointed as chief executive of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Fahy is a partner at KPMG. Jim Minto will continue as interim CEO until November when Fahy starts.
LGS appoints new board director
Local Government Super (LGS) has appointed Gordon Brock as a director, replacing Martin O'Connell, who has retired after 17 years on the board. Brock currently resides on the board at the Local Government Engineers' Association (LGEA).
PIMCO Asia Pacific hiring
PIMCO is set to appoint 20 new positions as it expands its Asia-Pacific business. The new roles include in sales, marketing, operations, legal and compliance.
YBR appoints GM of wealth management
Yellow Brick Road (YBR) has appointed Adam Youkhana as general manager of the wealth division. Youkhana moves across from Westpac.

Perpetual executive resigns after eight months
Perpetual Investments' David Kiddie is leaving the company after eight months on mutual agreement, to return to the UK for personal reasons.
ANZ group COO departed
ANZ's group chief operating officer, Alistair Currie, has left the company after a restructure. Chief information officer, Scott Collary, is now reporting to Currie, and deputy chief executive Graham Hodges is to take over management of group hubs, enterprise services, and group property. Craig Sims has taken over the role of group general manager of operations and services.

AIST Investment Rising Star Award
Kevin Wan Lum, acting chief investment officer and head of equities and alternatives at VicSuper has won the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) Investment Rising Star Award, in recognition of leadership and innovation in the investment process. The prize is a strategic leadership study tour in the UK worth up to $10,000.
