LGS appoints new board member
Local Government Super (LGS) has a new director, Gordon Brock, after long-standing board member, Martin O'Connell, stood down. Brock is presently a director at Local Government Engineers' Association (LGEA).

MLC has appointed Megan Clements as strategic product manager, moving across from AMP as a client relationship manager.

Cbus to substantially boost investment team
Cbus said it will be expanding its investment team in Sydney and Melbourne from 34 to 59 this financial year as its assets under management is set to hit $50 billion in the next few years.
Rubik appoints head of institutional sales, national account manager
Rubik Financial has appointed Anthony Meogrossi to the head of institutional sales, as he moves across from Bravura Solutions as head of account management. Jay Ellis was recently appointed to the role of national account manager.

ASIC cancels 133 SMSF auditor registrations
ASIC has gone ahead and cancelled 133 approved self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) auditors who failed to lodge their annual statements. In July, 185 warnings were issued to auditors with outstanding financial statements, however nothing was done for most of these, so the cancellations went ahead.
Blue Sky MD departs, replacement appointed
Blue Sky Alternative Investments managing director and founder, Mark Sowerby, is retiring, and his successor has been announced as Rob Shand.
