BetaShares launches Global Sustainability Leaders ETF
BetaShares has launched a new sustainable, ethical exchange-traded fund (ETF)(ASX:ETHI), the first global equities product on the ASX to use a broad set of ethical eligibility screens. This means a company must be 60 per cent more carbon efficient than the average company in that industry, and not be in the business of fossil fuels, tobacco, armaments, gambling, or be otherwise involved in actions that include human rights abuses or are inconsistent with responsible investment practice.
CBA and Queensland Treasury delve into blockchain bonds
The Commonwealth Bank has issued the world's first government bond built using the blockchain. The crytpobond was created for Queensland Treasury Corporation on its capital markets blockchain platform.
