ANZIIF appoints deputy president
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has appointed Megan Beer as deputy president. Beer is an AMP executive. Allan Reynolds was appointed as president after Karl Armstrong stepped down. Other appointments at ANZIIF include Tim Plant and Donna Walker to the board.
Vanguard appoints head of investments, head of fixed income
Vanguard's Asia-Pacific team has had a reshuffle, with a new head of investments, Daniel Reyes, currently the US head of the advised portfolio solutions team. Reyes replaces Rodney Comegys, who is returning to the US. Reyes has been with Vanguard since 2004. Vanguard also has a new head of fixed income, Jeffrey Johnson (current head of regional investment strategies), after Stephen Howard left.
First State Super appoints CFO
First State Super has appointed Tim Elliott as its new chief financial officer. Elliott has been at StatePlus, moving into the newly-created role in April.
ACSI has a new president
Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) has appointed Ian Silk, AustralianSuper's chief executive as its third president, taking over from Gerard Noonan of Media Super. Antony Thow, LUCRF Super's chief executive, replaces Trish Donohue, Cbus's group executive, as deputy president.
Decimal board welcomes Pauline Vamos
Software provider Decimal has appointed former Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) chief executive Pauline Vamos to its board.
J.P. Morgan loses long-term local CEO
J.P. Morgan's Australian chief executive Rob Priestley has resigned after 15 years. Head of global investment banking, Paul Uren, will replace him. Priestley will stay on as a non-executive chair and join the ASX board as a non-executive director.

IRESS head of superannuation retires
Stephen Mackley, IRESS's managing director of superannuation, is to retire from the company in September 2017. Jeff Hall, currently the general manager of consulting, superannuation, is the next in line for the job.
