UniSuper chairman departs, new director appointed
Chris Cuffe is leaving UniSuper after six years, remaining on the investment committee as a non-director member. Ian Martin, a current UniSuper director, has been appointed as Cuffe's successor. A new director, Mark Armour, has been appointed to the board.
HESTA appoints new CIO
HESTA has appointed a new chief investment officer, Sonya Sawtell-Rickson, as of July. Sawtell-Rickson was most recently with QIC and QSuper working on the investment team.
Vanguard appoints new CFO
Vanguard Australia has appointed a new chief financial officer, Johanna Platt, who replaces Daniel Shrimski. Shrimski left to move to Vanguard US Retail Investor Group, based in the USA.

BetaShares launches new small-cap fund
BetaShares' latest release is a small-cap fund with low management fees - the ASX-listed Australian Small Companies Select Fund (SMLL). The fund offers capital growth and income via investment in small listed companies that looks to outperform the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries benchmark. The annual fee is 0.39 per cent excluding performance fees.
Lennox Capital Partners release small-cap fund
Lennox Capital's flagship Australian small-cap strategy has been launched - the Lennox Australian Small Companies Fund, which is available to both institutional and retail investors. The fund is being seeded by the founders and Third Link Growth Fund.
