NGS Super announces new executives
Angie Mastrippolito has been named the new chief operating officer at NGS Super, commencing in October. Mastrippolito was most recently the chief executive and fund secretary at NESS Super. Ben Facer is the first chief risk and governance officer in the newly-created position, commencing in September.
AMP Capital appoints non-executive directors
AMP Capital has appointed John Nesbitt, Ming Long and Peter Rowe as independent directors to its responsible entity and trustee boards, effective July 28. Nesbitt was most recently chief executive at Suncorp Group's wealth division. Long is currently a non-executive director on other boards including Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Finance and Audit Committee of the University of Sydney. Rowe is currently chair of AMP Capital Managed Investment Schemes Compliance Committee.
BTIM announces executive
Michael Blaney has been announced as BT Investment Management's head of multi asset investment, a newly-created role, commencing at the end of August. Blaney is currently head of investment strategy at First State Super.
Dispute resolution lead named
Former Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) governor Malcolm Edey has been named leader of an operational team to consolidate three existing schemes into the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). AFCA will operate in place of the Credit and Investments Ombudsman, the Financial Ombudsman Service, and the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal from 1 July 2018.
Vanguard appoints senior investment specialist
Mary McLaughlin has been announced as a senior investment specialist at Vanguard. McLaughlin was formerly the chief investment officer for Meat Industry Employees Superannuation Fund.

Franklin Templeton Australian head steps down
Maria Wilton, head of Franklin Templeton's Australian branch, has stepped down after 11 years. Wilton will stay with the company, however her exact role has yet to be stated.
