Operating officer and advisory firm appointed by CountPlus
Mark Chapman has been named as operating officer at CountPlus, as of 4 June 2018. Chapman was previously the former chief executive at Bentley Network.

Genesis Advisory has been named to support the CountPlus board in any future mergers or acquisitions.

Victorian and Tasmanian 2018 NIBA award finalists revealed
The finalists for NIBA’s 2018 Broker of the Year and Young Professional Broker of the Year awards have been announced. 

The Broker of the Year award 2018 regional finalists are:

  • Mark Laudrum – Ardrossan Insurance Brokers

  • Penny Collins – CMIB Insurance Services

The Young Professional Broker of the Year award 2018 regional finalists are:

  • Travis Gauci – Gallagher

  • Leigh Moulden – Doreen Insurance Solution

  • Brett Batson – Willis Towers Watson

  • James Pearson – Marsh Advantage Insurance

  • Fiona Hancock – AON

The winners will be announced at the NIBA Victorian Gala on May 25, and will go on to compete for the Warren Tickle Memorial Award and the Stephen Ball Memorial Award.

Non-executive directors step down from AMP board
Vanessa Wallace has stepped down from her position as non-executive director on the AMP board ahead of the Annual General Meeting. Wallace has also stepped down as chairman of AMP Capital Holdings. Holly Kramer has stepped down from her position as non-executive director on the AMP board, along with Patty Akopiantz, who will step down from her position as non-executive director at the end of 2018.
