ANZ hires extra remediation team staff
ANZ has boosted its remediation team by 50 per cent in an attempt to quickly deal with refunds, and get the money back to customers faster. ANZ has almost $700 million in remediation provisions to review and get back to customers.

Insurtech Australia appoints new CEO
One of its founding partners, Rita Yates, has been appointed as chief executive of Insurtech Australia. Yates takes over from Simon O’Dell, who is moving into the role of chair.

TAL cutting jobs, restructuring
TAL’s retail channel is set to lose a lot of staff after a restructure post-Asteron-Life acquisition. Asteron’s retail products will be removed from the market for new applications from 1 July, meaning that the total number of roles required drops down.
