MetLife welcomes head of retail product, strategic account manager
John Ashton and Dave Evans have joined MetLife’s senior ranks. Ashton is the new head of retail product, overseeing MetLife Protect, while Evans is to step in as a strategic account manager to focus on licensee relationships.
MLC Wealth promotes super and solutions GM
Garry Mulcahy has been moved up into a role as group executive of asset management as of September 2019, from his current role as executive general manager of super and solutions. Mulcahy has been with MLC for over a decade in the asset management division.
Also promoted is Tim Steele, current general manager of NAB Financial Planning and NAB Direct Advice, moving into the group executive of retirement and investment solutions role, also from September.

NIBA SA/NT Broker Award winners announced
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the South Australia/Northern Territory brokers award winners, Kevin Loader (Gallagher) and Jessica Dametto (Webber Insurance Group). Loader won Broker of the Year, while Dametto is the Young Professional Broker of the Year. The pair will go on to compete in the national awards.
