New Appointments
KPMG appoints asset and wealth head, life insurance head
Linda Elkins is leaving Colonial First State to join KPMG as national sector leader of asset and wealth management, as of August. Elkins replaces Paul Howes, who is moving into a national managing partner role at KPMG. Elkins’ replacement has not been announced.
Pauline Blight-Johnston has been appointed as life insurance lead partner. Blight-Johnston was most recently the general manager of group strategy at Challenger.
CBA executive switches
The Commonwealth Bank is saying goodbye to Anna Lenahan, who is retiring from her role as group general counsel and group executive group corporate affairs. The role will now be split into two, with Priscilla Sims Brown to take the other half of the role, which is now group executive of marketing and corporate affairs. Sims Brown moves across from Emerge.me, a digital healthcare company in the United States. Lenahan’s replacement as general counsel has not been announced.
AMP Life appoints investment head
Jeffrey Brunton from AMP Capital is taking on the role of chief investment officer at AMP Life as Sean Henaghan takes planned extended leave.
Nikko AM appoints distribution head
Rob Bluzmanis is the new head of distribution for Australia at Nikko Asset Management, a promotion from current head of wholesale sales. Bluzmanis has been with Nikko AM for almost five years.
Future Super appoints COO and CFO
Leigh Dunlop has been promoted to chief operating officer, from her role as head of people and culture. Dunlop has been with Future fund for just under a year, since she moved across from Herbert Smith Freehills. Luke Gensler is moving into the role of chief financial officer, previously head of finance and business operations at Future Super.

Departures
Antares portfolio manager leaving after 12 years
Richard Dixon has announced he is leaving Antares after three months of extended leave, and after 12 years at the fund. Dixon will be replaced with the co-head of equities and deputy portfolio manager, Nick Pashias, with new deputy portfolio manager and head of research, Andrew Hamilton.
Australian Ethical loses CEO
Phil Vernon is leaving Australian Ethical after nine years. Company chair Steve Gibbs will step in as acting chief executive until a replacement can be found.
