New Appointments
VicSuper switches chairs
Wayne Kayler-Thomson switches roles with Christine Stewart, who has been the VicSuper chair since 2017. Stewart moves into Thomson’s role as deputy chair, after being on the board since 2009.
NAB AM appoints institutional director
Colin Keenan is the new director of institutional business at NAB Asset Management. Keenan moves across from the closing down JCP Investment Partners as a senior dealer and business development manager.
Equity Trustees appoints head of insurance
Princess Navarro is the new Equity Trustees head of insurance, moving across from Mercer. Navarro was with Mercer for almost 20 years, most recently as the insurance, policy and governance head. Three others were recently appointed to roles at Equity Trustees: Ian Donaldson moves into a senior client account manager role; Priscilla Chand is a new trustee officer for claims; while Anthony Marasigan joins as a fund accountant.

Departures
Spaceship co-founder leaving
Paul Bennetts, co-founder and former chief executive of startup superannuation fund Spaceship, is leaving the fund. The incoming chief executive is Andrew Moore, who was filling in as interim CEO after Bennetts moved out of the role and into a role as chief product officer in May 2019. Bennetts will retain his shareholding in the business.
HSBC global CEO departs
After a board agreement, global chief of HSBC, John Flint, has stepped down and left the company after 30 years. Flint took over as CEO from Stuart Gulliver in February 2018.
