MLC Life welcomes new managers

Suzie Brown has joined the group insurance team as general manager of MLC Wealth and corporate partnerships. Brown was previously the GM of distribution at Integrity Life. Emily Wu is the new general manager of fund partnerships, moving from legal roles at other insurers. Craig Harrison is the new general manager of product, pricing and proposition (group), moving from CommInsure’s group insurance business.

AMP welcomes risk specialist

Angela Papas is the new head of incidents, issues and breaches at AMP, moving from CommInsure as executive manager for risk and compliance.

CountPlus appoints new director

Carolyn Colley is a newly-appointed director on the CountPlus board, bringing over three decades’ experience in financial services to the role. CountPlus now has 50 per cent female directors.

MLC loses CEO

Geoff Lloyd is stepping down as chief executive of MLC, as MLC Wealth is sold to IOOF. Lloyd moved to a role at MLC in 2018. MLC’s chief corporate services officer Andrew Morgan will oversee MLC Wealth’s operations as the business is sold to IOOF.
