Kapstream goes for flatter company structure, loses head of credit, gains portfolio manager
Raymond Lee has been made redundant from his role as head of credit after a review at Kapstream Capital. A flatter, simpler structure across the credit function is the new preference. Lee spent almost a decade at Kapstream, with the past five years in the head of credit role, and has opted to leave the company rather than seek a new role within Kapstream. The investment committee will lose Lee, leaving just three members.
Mark Bayley is a new portfolio manager, named top credit analyst by Institutional Investor, Credit Magazine and CFO Magazine, Kapstream said.
