/AMG Super cutting brands to save money
Brisbane retail superannuation fund AMG Super is to cut brands to cut costs, with Emplus and Freedom of Choice to be culled. Both will merge into the AMG division. AMG Super purchased the two funds in 2018, with the fund partially owned by DDH Graham. DDH Graham has been running the $140 million Emplus Super and $300 million Freedom of Choice Super as standalone funds of AMG’s.
The cost-cutting measures are set to save expenses by 17 per cent over three years.
