Christopher Hall is now a director at Funds SA. Hall is Ellerston Capital’s investment chief, with a solid investment industry history.
UBS appoints country head for Australia and New Zealand
Alison Telfer is the new country head for Australia and New Zealand at UBS Asset Management, replacing John Mowat. Mowat is returning to running the UBS real estate business. Telfer moves into the role from BlackRock as chief operating officer, general counsel and head of public policy for Australiasia.
State Street welcomes head of Australia
Tim Helyar is the new country head for Australia at State Street Australia. Helyar moves into the role from JP Morgan Investor Services, most recently as head of fund services product development for Asia Pacific. The country head role is newly-created.
Aviva Investors appoints head of credit
Caroline Hedges is the new head of credit at Aviva Investors after Colin Purdie was promoted to chief investment officer in June. Hedges was most recently the head of liquidity and securities finance.
AustralianSuper welcomes head of risk
Andrew Mantello is the new head of risk at AustralianSuper, an internal promotion replacing Paul Schroder. Mantello was most recently head of emergent risks at the super fund.
