Equip super welcomes new head of retirement

Sam Higgie has been promoted to the newly-created role of head of retirement after working within Equip in product strategy.

Vanguard appoints director

Tara Bunch is the latest director to join the Vanguard board. Bunch is also on the board of trustees for each of the Vanguard funds. Bunch is the head of global operations at Airbnb. Bunch has a very distinguished career at many high profile companies, including Apple.

AustralianSuper welcomes director

Phillipa Kelly is the latest addition to the board at AustralianSuper as an independent director and chair of the investment committee. Kelly replaces Jim Craig. Kelly was the chief operating officer at the Julliard Group for almost a decade, and currently chairs LifeStyle Communities and is a director of oOhlmedia, and deputy chancellor of Deakin University.

Warakirri welcomes head of private wealth

Ben Williams moves from UBS as head of wholesale client coverage into the newly-created role of head of private wealth at Warakirri Asset Management.

Willis Towers Watson appoints three new leaders

Ellie Boston has been appointed as the director of strategic advisory at Willis Towers Watson. Boston, currently located in England, has been with WTW for 13 years. Grace Szeto is the new associate director of the manager research team, moving into the role from Christian Super’s alternative and real asset portfolio team. Ksenia Zaychuk is the new senior associate for the client consulting team, while Edward Huynh is in equity research. Both Zaychuk and Huynh made the move from Morningstar.

BetaShares appoints director of responsible investment

Greg Liddell is the new director of responsible investment at BetaShares Capital, moving into the role from Suncorp.

FSC appoints director

Nick Fels is a new director at the Financial Services Council (FSC), joining from Bell Asset Management. Fels has over 20years experience in investment management operations.
