Dexus and AMP funds to merge

The Dexus Wholesale Property Fund has an implementation agreement with AMP Capital’s Diversified Property Fund, a merger recommended by the AMP Capital Diversified Property Fund independent board committee.

An update to the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) by Dexus said the agreement was the result of discussions with the responsible entity for AMP Capital’s fund and six months’ engagement with unit holders. The Dexus fund and AMP Capital fund would merge via a stapling transaction.
