Erin Taylor is the newest senior underwriter at NEOS Life, moving into the role from MLC Life in a senior and principal underwriter role.

Jamie Johns is the new general manager of Madison Financial Group. Johns has been with Madison for about five years, most recently as the head of advice.

Pearce retires from Zurich, leaps into chair role

Gavin Pearce has retired after a 40-year career in financial services. Pearce was most recently the chief operating officer at Zurich Financial Services in the life and investments department. Pearce is the new chair of reinsurer SCOR Global Life Australia, replacing Peter MacKenzie who is actually retiring. Hilary Bates is replacing Pearce as COO of Zurich.

NAB appoints money laundering and reporting officer

Former AUSTRAC chief executive Paul Jevtovic is the new executive money laundering and reporting officer. Jevtovic has been working in Hong Kong with HSBC for the past four years, after serving three years with AUSTRAC, and previously being the chief executive of the Australian Crime Commission.

MLC Life Insurance appoints chief claims officer

Andrew Beevors is the new chief claims officer at MLC Life Insurance as of 16 August 2021. Beevors replaces Jane Dorter.
