Coolabah lists fixed income fund on Chi-X

Coolabah Capital Investments has listed its Coolabah Active Composite Bond Fund, a fixed income fund, on the Chi-X as a quoted managed fund. The fund invests in bonds issued by governments, banks, corporates and asset-backed securities and residential mortgage-backed securities.

Franklin Templeton closes Australian equities fund

As asset growth stalls, Franklin Templeton is shuttering its Australian Equity Fund as of June 16. Returns of funds to investors is expected by the end of July. The fund has a low level of funds under management and is unlikely to grow in the near term, so it was determined to be in the best interests of investors to close the fund.
