Lazard now Lazard Australia from July 1

Financial advisory business Lazard is to be known as Lazard Australia from July 1, 2021. The Unites States-based firm is restructuring its Australia advice business, a separate entity from Lazard Asset Management. Andrew Leyden will lead Lazard Australia, a business now owned entirely by its staff. Lazard Australia will continue to use the Lazard brand and have access to its global network.

CBA divests general insurance business

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has sold CommInsure General Insurance to the Hollard Group, with a 15-year strategic alliance formed to sell home and vehicle insurance products to CBA’s retail customers in Australia.
