/AIA Australia welcomes head of strategic partnerships
Harumi Hancox is the new head of strategic partnerships at AIA Australia, focusing on master trusts. Hancox moves into the role from IFS Insurance Solutions, where she was for 15 years as a risk consultant.
CFS appoints CEO, CFS Super leadership team
Kelly Power is the new chief executive at Colonial First State (CFS) Superannuation. Power joined the company in 2018 as a general manager of product, a role that she will keep along with her new responsibilities.
Andrew Morgan is joining the company as chief financial officer; Darren McKenzie will be chief operating officer; and Shenaz Waples chief people officer. CFS is currently in the market for a chief risk officer. Todd Stevenson is to be chief customer officer and Bryce Quirk as chief distribution officer.
AMP welcomes new board member
Michael Hirst has joined the AMP board. Hirst is a former Bendigo Bank executive, having held many roles and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank across the 17 years he was with the organisation. In semi-retirement, Hirst holds many board roles: GMHBA, Racing Victoria, AMCIL, and most recently a commissioner on the government’s COVID-19 Commission Advisory Board.
QIC CEO retiring
Damian Frawley is leaving QIC for good in 2022 after 10 years at the company in various executive roles. A replacement is being sought.
Life code committee chair appointed
Jan McClelland, current deputy chancellor of the University of New England, is now the chair of the Life Code Compliance Committee (LCCC). McClelland replaces the outgoing chair, Anne Brown. McClelland is also the chair of the Gateway Network Governance Body and a member of the advisory board of the NSW Circular Economy Innovation Network.
