Evans & Partners launches retail arm, offering retail

Evans & Partners have launched its retail business, Claremont Global Funds Management, with its Claremont Global Fund offering international equities strategy to retail investors. The fund is high conviction and invests in 10-15 stocks targeting 8-12 per cent annually in absolute returns over 5-7 years. The fund is managed by Bob Desmond and Adam Chandler.

PineBridge launches Asian small-cap fund to Aussie investors

PineBridge Investments, a global asset manager, has launched the PineBridge Asia ex Japan Small Cap Genesis Fund to Australian investors. The fund holds small-medium sized companies in the Asian region, excluding Japan. The fund is managed by Elisabeth Soon.

Acadian launches global macro fund

Acadian Asset Management has launched the Global Macro Fund, a multi-asset absolute return fund for institutional and wholesale investors. The strategy looks to exploit inefficiencies across and within global markets with long-short positions across five major asset classes of equities, bonds, foreign exchange, volatility and commodities. The fund is aiming for a positive return above the S&P/ASX Bank Bill inex.

Copia releases global environmental fund

An Australian distribution partnership has been developed by Copia Investment Partners and TT International to launch the TT Global Environmental Impact Fund to Australian investors. The fund invests in 30-40 global equity stocks, with environmental solutions account for over 50 per cent of revenues or profits. A third of all TT International’s management fees will be donated to select environmental charities across Australia.

Alphinity launches global sustainable strategy

Alphinity Investment Management has launched a global sustainable strategy using quality global companies that support our transition to a more sustainable future, while also being undervalued and in an earnings upgrade cycle. The Alphinity Global Sustainable Equity Fund is run by Jeff Thomson with the help of ESG expert Jessica Cairns.
