Splitting super in family law cases now easier

Legislation has passed through Parliament to improve the visibility of superannuation assets during family law proceedings to ensure fair splits between parties. Either party can apply to the Family Court to request information from the Australian Tax Office about the superannuation of their former partner.

APRA Connect to go live

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced its new data collection solution, APRA Connect, is to go live on 13 September 2021. All entities are required to prepare for APRA Connect and nominate their administrator via the D2A form.
