Julie Galbo is the newest independent non-executive director on the board. Galbo is based in Denmark.

Zurich appoints group chief strategy officer

Paolo Mantero is the new group chief strategy officer at Zurich Insurance Group. Mantero moves into the role from an in-house role in commercial insurance in January 2022, succeeding Giovanni Giuliani. Guiliani is moving on to become chief executive of Zurich Italy. Mantero joined Zurich in 2016.

CFS appoints risk head

Anthony Lane is Colonial First State’s new chief risk officer, moving into the role from MLC Wealth as chief operating officer.
