Schroders has appointed Colin Keenan as its new institutional sales manager, with Keenan moving into the role from MLC Asset Management as director of institutional business.
Goldman Sachs welcomes new partner
Zac Fletcher has become partner at Goldman Sachs. Fletcher is the co-head of the Investment Banking Division in Australia and New Zealand, having joined the firm in 2005 and becoming managing director in 2009. Australian partners include Simon Rothery, Christian Johnston and Nick Sims.
IFM appoints ESG expert
IFM Investors has appointed Samantha Hutton as a senior associate of responsible investment in a newly-created position. Hutton is an ESG specialist, moving into the new role from Mercer as a sustainability investment analyst.
AustralianSuper welcomes chief retirement, member officer
Shawn Blackmore is the latest addition to the AustralianSuper team, as the chief officer retirement, a newly-created role. Blackmore has been group executive of member experience at the fund since 2013. Rose Kerlin has been appointed as the new chief member officer, from her current role as group executive membership.
legalsuper CEO resigns
Andrew Proebstl has resigned from the chief executive role at legalsuper after nearly two decades. Trevin Ericson will become interim chief executive while a replacement is found.
Praemium appoints chief strategy officer
Dennis Orrock is the new chief strategy officer at Praemium, moving into the newly-created role from FNZ Group as head of capital markets.
UniSuper welcomes new chair of investment committee, director
Peter Warne is the new chair of the investment committee, and is a new independent non-executive director as of January 2023. Warne recently left the chair role at Macquarie Group after six years, being a director for 15 years.
Spirit Super loses chair, welcomes new addition
Naomi Edwards is leaving Spirit Super after 12 years as a director and chair, being succeeded by Maria Wilton. Wilton is a current director of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation, deputy chair at Infrastructure Victoria, board governor of the CFA Institute, a member of the Queensland State Invstment Advisory Board and director of the Dexus Wholesale Property Fund.
State Super appoints new director
Russell Mason is the latest addition to the State Super board as a director, with a four-year term. Mason is a Deloitte partner.

Pooja Shirangi is the new manager of responsible investment at Cbus industry superannuation. Shirangi moves into the role from Lakehouse Capital.
NGS Super farewells chair
Richard Shearman is leaving NGS Super as chair after 10 years. Geoff Newcombe will replace Shearman on an interim basis as a replacement is found. Georgina Smith is acting deputy, while director Terry Burke will chair the investment committee.
Perpetual appoints head of equities
Vince Pezzullo is the new head of equities at Perpetual after Paul Skamvougeras resigned after being with the company for 18 years across two stints. Skamvougeras will continue to work with the team during the transition.
ACSI appoints deputy president
Linda Scott, CareSuper chair, has been elected deputy president of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ASCI). Scott replaces Michelle Gardiner. Scott is a former deputy lord mayor of the City of Syndey.
