FTX Australia AFSL suspended

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has suspended the Australian financial services licence of FTX Australia until May 2023 after it entered voluntary administration on 11 November 2022. FTX can provide limited financial services in relation to terminating existing derivatives with clients.

MPG property trusts interim stop orders

ASIC has made interim stop orders to prevent MPG Funds Management Limited from offering or distributing two property trusts to retail investors due to deficiencies in the target market determinations. The MPG Bulky Goods Retail Trust and MPG Essential Services Property Trust interim stop orders are in place for 21 days unless revoked earlier.
