/Challenger launches Solutions Group fund
The Challenger Solutions Liquid Alternatives Balanced Fund has been launched by Challenger, the first in a series of investment options set up by Challenger’s Solutions Group.
The Solutions Group works with institutional clients on their needs. The fund uses several strategies to invest in equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities, benchmarked against the RBA cash rate total return index.
abrdn launches first of series of ETFs
The abrdn Sustainable Asian Opportunities Active ETF has been launched by abrdn, investing in Asian opportunities, excluding Japan. The actively-managed fund seeks to outperform the MSCI All Countries Asia Accumulation Index (ex-Japan) through investments in 35-70 Asian companies.
Vanguard launches positive impact fund
The Vanguard Positive Impact Fund, managed by Baillie Gifford in the UK, has been launched by Vanguard, investing in 25-50 global companies that have a positive impact in areas such as social inclusion and education, healthcare, quality of life and the environment.
BetaShares launches income ETF
The NASDAQ 100 Yield Maximiser Fund has been launched by BetaShares, offering exposure to the NASDAQ 100 index and extra income.
Hejaz launches two Shariah-compliant ETFs
The Hejaz Equities Fund and the Hejaz Property Fund are now two more listed Shariah-compliant exchange-traded funds by the Islamic investment manager Hejaz Asset Management. The equity fund tracks the MSCI World Islamic Index (hedged into AUD), with the property fund tracking the MSCI World REITs Index (hedged into AUD). These are the first two Islamic Finance ETFs listed on the ASX.
BetaShares and Global X each launch transition metals ETFs
BetaShares has launched the BetaShares Energy Transition ETF, while Global X has launched its Green Metal Miners ETF, both in the transition or ‘green’ metals investment space.
The BetaShares fund offers global companies investing in the energy transition metal industry, tracking the Nasdaq Sprott Energy Transition Materials Select Index.
Global X’s ETF tracks the BITA Glocal Green Energy Metals Index, tracking companies involved in the extraction, processing and physical trading of metals that are considered critical for the clean energy transition.
