TAL appoints director

Naomi Edwards is the latest independent director to join the TAL Insurance board. Edwards has over 35 years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently being the chair of the Spirit Super board.

CFS appoints executive director of new business

Chris Mather is the new executive director of new business at Colonial First State (CFS). Mather moves into the role from BT Financial Group, most recently as head of distribution, and was at BT for 14 years in a variety of roles.

AMP welcomes CFO

Peter Fredericson is the new chief financial officer at AMP, and is the newest member of the executive committee. Fredericson moves into the role from Oil Search Limited, and replaces James Georgeson.
