European Monthly Insight September 2022 Highlights
/With negatively performing markets and outflows the European asset management industry declined by €769.3 billion, or 6.4% in September, to €11.2 trillion in assets.
All asset classes experienced net outflows, led by Equity funds. Bond funds and Equity funds recorded a combined -€67.2 billion in net sales.
Considering product structures, Active funds net sales were -€79.5 billion, the eighth consecutive month of outflow. Passive and ETF funds also saw net sales turn negative, seeing -€4.5 billion and -€6.6 billion respectively.
