Zurich welcomes director, digital head

Geoff Summerhayes has been appointed an independent non-executive director and member of the Risk, Compliance and Audit Committee, and is joining five of Zurich’s APRA-regulated boards. Summerhayes is an industry veteran.

Zurich Financial Services has appointed Ahmad Racheha as head of digital and member engagement. Racheha moves into the newly-created role from Aware Super.

Class-HUB24 merger finalised, CEO and MD of Class steps down

Andrew Russell, the chief executive and managing director of Class super is to step down this month, as HUB24’s acquisition of Class is completed. HUB24’s director of strategic development, Jason Entwistle, is to become interim CEO and MD of Class while a permanent replacement is found.

MLC Life Insurance appoints head of fund partnerships

Chris Porter has been appointed as head of fund partnerships at MLC Life Insurance, formerly the executive manager for operations at MTAA Super (now Spirit Super). A restructure in 2021 saw the group insurance team split off, and is now a standalone function headed by Mark Puli.

ClearView welcomes CRO

Cloe Reece has been appointed chief risk officer at ClearView, moving into the role from NAB as an executive manager.
