Findex announces 40 new partner firms

Findex has confirmed 46 new partners and associates across Australia, taking its total partners across Australia and New Zealand to 57. Findex has almost 3,000 employees and over 100 offices across regional and city areas, with over 250,000 clients with $17 billion in funds under advice.

AMP divested fully from Resolution Life Australasia

Resolution Life and AMP are untethered, with AMP divesting the remaining 19.13 per cent interest in Resolution Life Australiasia (RLA) to Resolution Life Group. AMP Life was originally sold to Resolution Life Group in 2020, including the equity in RLA. This divestment is the final transition.

CountPlus acquires stake in WSC Group

A 32.75 per cent stake in advisory practice WSC Group has been made by CountPlus, with WSC Group authorised by Count as part of the transaction. This adds three authorised representatives to the CountPlus-owned licensee.

Count Financial, the parent company of CountPlus, has added Midwinter financial advice software to its technology roster.
