/Cbus: six new investment appointments
Cbus has welcomed five new additions to the investments team:
Anna Weickart - senior manager, equities manager research (promoted from senior portfolio manager, equities)
Myooran Mahalingam - senior portfolio manager, global equities portfolio construction (moves from global equities and listed property portfolio manager at MLC)
Adrian Dark - associate director (joins from Citi Research as director, head of property)
Ashleigh Baxter - investment manager, direct debt (joins from NAB as associate director, debt markets)
Jonathan Meagher - senior analyst, infrastructure (joins from Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation as investment analyst, private markets)
Ros McKay - head of responsible investment (joining from Australian Council of Superannuation Investors as engagement and policy consultant)
QIC farewells MD
Susan Buckley is leaving Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) after 21 years at the organisation. Beverley Morris is acting head as a replacement is found.
ASFA welcomes director
Edwina Maloney is the newest addition to the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Maloney represents the retail fund sector, replacing Melinda Howes who stepped down earlier this year. Maloney is an experienced industry stalwart, a current director of platforms at AMP.
Actuary of the Year announced
Chris Dolman has been named Actuary of the year for 2022. Dolman is executive manager of data and algorithmic ethics at IAG, while also being a research affiliate at ANU’s Humanising Machine Intelligence Group.
