ART creating digital advice platform
The Australian Retirement Trust (ART) is building a new advice offering for advisers, what the company says is an end-to-end digital advice platform. The platform will include DIY advice, calculators and human-led intra-fund advice, with the launch expected by the end of the year.
ClearView updates ClearChoice
As of 2 April, there are some updates to ClearView’s ClearChoice product range.
Simplifying names of different levels of income protection cover and the removal of the drop in cover at age 60 so that the 70 per cent replacement ratio continues to expiry on top levels of cover
The Booster Option is now available on policies with a 90-day waiting period, in addition to 30 and 60 days
Total and permanent disability (TPD) cover is expanded to age 70, with a change in definition at age 65
Premium rate changes for some, particularly for mid-aged professional clients
