UBS unveils leadership team

After integrating Credit Suisse, UBS has revealed its leadership team and new operating model.

  • Ulrich Körner - Credit Suisse chief executive joining UBS executive board

  • Todd Tuckner taking over from Sarah Youngwood as chief financial officer

  • Sarah Youngwood is leaving the company

  • Michelle Bereaux - former chief operating officer and UK country head of asset management is the new group integration officer

  • Mike Dargan is the new group chief operations and technology officer

  • Stefan Seiler is the new group head of human resources and corporate services

  • Beatriz Martin Jiminez is taking on the role of head of non-core and legacy and president EMEA while maintaining the role of UBS UK CEO and group treasurer until a successor is named

SuperFriend appoints deputy chair, director

Rose Kerlin is the new deputy chair at SuperFriend, moving from chief member officer of AustralianSuper. Deanne Wilden, from Australian Retirement Trust, is now a director. Kerlin replaces Teifi Whatley.

CareSuper welcomes investment implementation manager

Jarrad Hose has been appointed as the newly-created role of investment implementation manager. Hose moves into the role from HESTA.

Louse Hollingsworth is moving into the role of external mandates - credit at Rest superannuation. Hollingsworth was most recently at Victorian Funds Management Corporation.

Aware Super appoints private equity portfolio manager

Alex Satchcroft is the new portfolio manager for private equity at Aware Super. Satchcroft moved into the role from Anchorage Capital Group.

Qantas Super welcomes deputy investment head

Chris Grogan is the new deputy chief investment officer and head of defensive assets at Qantas Super. Grogan is a long-time Qantas Super investment specialist, most recently manger of investments.

Praemium appoints chief technology officer

Richard Large is the new chief technology officer at Praemium, moving into the role from chief information officer at the University of Technology in Sydney.

Perpetual farewells portfolio manager, two other promoted

Jack Collopy has resigned as a portfolio manager at Perpetual, with two new co-portfolio managers appointed, Alex Pattern and James Rutledge.

HESTA welcomes new director

Sue Dahn is the latest addition to the HESTA board of directors and investment committee chair after leaving Spirit Super after 12 years on the board. Dahn replaces investment committee chair Mark Burgess who is leaving to join Australian Retirement Trust.
