/VanEck introduces US bond ETF
A new exchange-traded fund has been launched by VanEck, the VanEck 1-3 Month US Treasury Bond ETF. The short-term US Treasury bond ETF consists of short-term US treasury bills of highly rated securities.
Mine Super closing one Choice option
After being highlighted as an underperformed by regulators, Mine Super is closing its conservative balanced option. The option will remain open for pension members, and the option that is part of the fund’s lifecycle strategy. Member funds will be transferred to the balanced option unless another selection is made.
BetaShares launch global shares ETF
The Betashares Global Shares (ex-Australia) ETF (BGBL) and its currency hedged equivalent (HGBL) are now trading on the ASX. The exchange-traded funds (ETFs) track an index offering exposure to around 1,500 global companies across over 20 developed market countries, not including Australia.
Dalton Street fund shuttering
The Dalton Street Market Neutral Trust is being terminated as it is no longer economically viable. Equity Trustees, the responsible entity for the fund, said the fund is being closed primarily due to low assets under management. Fund documents show that at October 2022, the fund had $2.16 million in assets.
State Street launches carbon asset service
State Street has announced the launch of a new carbon asset fund administration and depositary service for asset managers, asset owners and financial institutions to support the integration of carbon-related assets into portfolios. The State Street Carbon Asset Servicing Solution is a global service.
