A chief executive of a medical cannabis company in California has been denied life insurance because he was 'associated' with cannabis, the latest example of a society deeply conflicted about cannabis legalisation. 

The true impacts of cannabis use, including the benefits and dangers ,are clouded by our universally misguided perceptions about what pot actually does to us, and importantly for the risk industry, how that affects our risk profile - or doesn't, as the case may be.
