Platforms Rise $45.7bn in Funds Under Management during 2016

Overall Masterfund business increased 6.6% or $45.7bn during 2016 to stand at $733.0bn with circa 80% of this increase due to positive, March quarter aside, performances on investment markets that continue to be supported by unprecedented stimulatory ultra low interest rates.

Masterfund Inflows of $139.5bn rose only a modest 2.4% in 2016 however corresponding Outflows bounced back 11.7% to total $125.4bn after previously falling in 2015.
