Wholesale Funds rose by $59.9bn during the December 2024 Quarter

Wholesale Funds rose 4.0% in the December quarter while over the whole of 2024 they jumped 14.6% to total $1,538.6bn mainly due to strong investment earnings.

Increases in funds under management were reported by all the leading managers including Top 3 players State Street (33.5%), Vanguard (10.9%) and Challenger (12.9%) along with Insignia (11.6%), Perpetual (10.1%), BlackRock (24.2%), Macquarie (16.9%) and DFA (14.6%) all recording double digit percentage increases. Unfortunately in less than three months much of this growth has been undone with worse to come as markets continue to collapse globally amid fears of a looming recession.
