FSC appoints new chair, deputy chair, board member
The Financial Services Council has appointed Geoff Lloyd as its new chair, replacing Greg Cooper. Annabel Spring is the new deputy chair, and Alexis George is newly appointed to the FSC board.

TAL and AFA Female Excellence in Advice Award nominations close
The female financial adviser award nominations are now closed, with the awards recognising the achievements of female advisers in Australia. The winner is to receive a $15,000 education package to further professional development, and both TAL and the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) will work with the winner on their personalised package. Watch this space for the finalists.
