/MLC AM welcomes head of retail distribution
Tom Keenan is the new head of retail distribution at MLC Asset Management, in a newly-created role. Keenan moves into the role from Asia of Robeco in Singapore as CEO and head of wholesale.
Future Super CIO shifting into governance, welcomes risk committee chair
Dan East, Future Super chief investment officer, is to move into a more governance-focused role at the Future Super Group, moving away from his CIO role. He will hold positions on both the risk and investment committees. The new title remains to be announced, as with what will happen to the CIO role.
Virginia Malley, former Macquarie Funds Management chief risk officer, is the new chair of the risk committee.
Meat industry super makes new appointments
Katherine Kaspar is the new chief executive at the Meat Industry Employees’ Superannuation Fund (MIESF), moving from Link Group as the general manager. Kaspar replaces Bill McRobert, who is retiring in 2021.
Bennelong appoints new board member
Michael Dwyer joins the board of Bennelong Funds Management and its parent company, Bennelong Funds Management Group, as a non-executive director. Dwyer holds several directorships, including NSW TCorp chair, UNHCR Australia chair, and a director at Iress. Dwyer was awarded the Order of Australia in 2011 for service to the superannuation industry.
Citi appoints head of product
Justin Burman is the new head of product for fund services, while also sitting on the securities services team. Burman moves from RBC after a client transfer agreement.
