/Universal ESG reporting by companies - ready when you are
The World Economic Forum has released a set of ESG metrics and disclosures so companies can report regardless of their industry or region. The pillars of the program are governance, planet, people and prosperity, with companies able to report non-financial disclosures.
The initiative was announced at the fourth annual Sustainable Development Impact Summit, from a commitment made at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting held in January 2020. Since that meeting, 120 members of the Forum’s International Business Council have shown great support for these ESG metrics. Some companies are already implementing the metrics into their reporting.
