/AFA CEO departs
The Association of Financial Advisors (AFA) chief executive, Helen Morgan-Banda, has resigned after just five months in the job. Phil Anderson, currently the general manager of policy and professionalism, will take over. Morgan-Branda is returning to New Zealand, she said due to border uncertainty.

IAG appointments CRO
Insurance Australia Group (IAG) has hired Peter Taylor to replace David Watts as chief risk officer. Taylor moves into the role from Westpac as general manager of enterprise risk.
Midwinter appoints head of advice sales
Stacey Cowan is the new head of advice sales at Midwinter. Cowan moves into the role from Challenger, where she held a variety of roles.
Zurich welcomes new hires
Dr William Monday is Zurich Australia’s new chief medical officer, responsible for building a team of doctors to provide technical expertise across the business. Dr Monday has been a consultant for Zurich Australia and other life insurance companies.
Stephanie Pierce is the new senior marketing and communications manager for health services. Pierce moves into the role from within Zurich, previously working with Zurich’s wellbeing app.
