Cbus and Media Super merger complete

The successor fund transfer for Cbus Super and Media Super has been processed and the merger between the two funds is complete. Cbus Super is taking on Media Super members.

AustralianSuper and LUCRF Super agree to merge in June

After merger talks since 2021, AustralianSuper and LUCRF Super have agreed to a successor fund transfer, with the merger to take place on June 3. AustralianSuper will absorb LUCRF Super’s 132,000 new members.

Australian Ethical and Christian Super talk merger

After APRA directed smaller funds to merge, Christian Super is looking to merge with Australian Ethical. Due diligence is being undertaken.

Pendal rejects Perpetual’s offer

Perpetual has offered to buy 100 per cent of Pendal shares by a scheme of arrangement, which Pendal has rejected, saying it is not in the best interests of shareholders.
