/REST introduces super splitting measures for breakups
It is now simpler to divvy up superannuation assets after a relationship breakdown at REST superannuation with a new measure introduced. The new measure will dramatically reduce the time it takes to divide assets. The Rest Super Split initiative includes a simple form and the removal of the requirement of a certified court order, with uncertified court orders accepted via email (instead of post).
The previous requirements were complex and time-consuming, sometimes taking months.
