/The European asset management industry contracted by €627.5 billion, or -5.2% as of June 2022, to €11.6 trillion in assets, while recording €68.0 billion in net outflows.
Bond mandates continued with its sixth consecutive month of net outflows of €33.9 billion. Equity mandates recorded their fourth consecutive month of net outflows of €18.2 billion. Mixed asset also turned negative, experiencing net outflows of €6.6 billion during the month.
Considering product structures, Active funds net sales were -€63.0 billion, the fifth consecutive month of outflows, while passive fund net sales turned negative at -€4.2 billion. ETF net creations were -€0.9 billion, down €0.6 billion from the previous month.
