MLC appoints client retention managers
MLC has appointed business engagement managers to work with advisers to help keep clients on board, with the offer of training, tools and processes to increase engagement. The names of the new appointments have not been released. 

Countplus chair steps down
Barry Lambert has stood down as chair of Countplus after a decade, to move outside of financial services. Lambert is being replaced with Countplus director Ray Kellerman. 

Infocus restructure, three new senior appointments
Infocus has restructured its leadership team and appointed three new senior staff. Richard Herbst is the new general manager of financial advice; Michael Corcoran is the new general manager of salaried advice; and Irene Watt is the new general manager of marketing. 

AFA appoints professionalism counsel
AFA appoints Linda Vogel as general counsel of professionalism, assisting general manager of policy and professionalism, Samantha Clarke, to prepare the association to become a monitoring body of an ASIC-approved AFA Code Scheme for the transition to FASEA standards. Vogel moves across from Deloitte.
