AMP appoints new director

Kate McKenzie is the latest director at AMP Limited. McKenzie is an NBN, Telstra and Allianz non-executive director and brings a wealth of experience to the role.

AFA appoints new president

Michael Nowak, vice president for two terms, is the new president of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA). Marc Bineham is the outgoing president, who has served on the board for a decade. Nowak is an experienced financial adviser and directs his own firm, Nowak Financial Services, which has been running for nearly 20 years.

ING welcomes new local CEO

Melanie Evans has been promoted to chief executive of Australia’s ING Bank business. Uday Sareen, current CEO, is now the head of wholesale banking for ING Europe, Middle East and Africa. Evans is a very experienced banker, with a wealth of industry experience behind her.
