Maple-Brown Abbott launches small companies fund

Phillip Hudak and Matt Griffin are to manage Maple-Brown Abbott’s new Australian Small Companies Fund. Both investment managers came from the AMP Capital Australian Emerging Companies strategy. The small companies fund is invested in undervalued small businesses, holding around 30-50 stocks that score well. The fund aims to outperform the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries (Total Return) Index after fees over five years.
